Terms of Use

These terms apply to CaptureQuest’s mobile app, website, educator tools, and organization mission services. By using CaptureQuest, you agree to use it responsibly and follow applicable laws, property rules, posted guidance, and adult-supervision requirements.

Eligibility and supervision

Children should use CaptureQuest only with appropriate permission and supervision from a parent, guardian, educator, or youth leader. Adults who create or manage a field crew are responsible for sharing access codes only with intended participants and for choosing activities appropriate to their setting.

Educational identification suggestions

Results are automated educational suggestions and may be incomplete or wrong. They are not medical, veterinary, scientific, legal, or safety advice. Never touch, taste, eat, handle, move, chase, or approach something because of an app result. Use qualified local expertise for any safety-critical or research-grade decision.

Your photographs and notes

You keep ownership of content you create. You give CaptureQuest the limited permission needed to process, store, display back to you, sync when selected, create user-requested share cards, and otherwise operate the features you choose. You must have the right to use submitted content and must not upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, or privacy-invasive material.

CaptureQuest service and materials

CaptureQuest, its software, branding, field-guide presentation, mission systems, and original service materials are owned by CaptureQuest or its licensors. You receive a personal, limited, revocable right to use the consumer service as intended. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, scrape, interfere with, or misuse the service except where applicable law expressly permits.

Location, maps, and venue information

Maps, venue listings, hours, missions, target availability, and trail or exhibit details may change. Confirm access, safety, conditions, accessibility, and operating hours with the place itself. A nearby listing or mission is not permission to enter private, unsafe, closed, or restricted property.

Field crews and educator access

Group organizers and permitted participants must use accurate, appropriate display information and protect class or family codes. Educator summaries are intended to support learning, not high-stakes grading, discipline, attendance, or evaluation. Do not use CaptureQuest to request or expose unnecessary child information.

Organization missions and paid services

Public pricing is an initial estimate, not a binding offer. A partner inquiry is not a purchase or contract. Approved organization services may be governed by a separate proposal, order form, subscription agreement, or pilot agreement describing price, included missions, term, renewals, cancellation, support, review responsibilities, and any refund terms. Public missions remain subject to CaptureQuest safety, accuracy, privacy, and publishing review.

Acceptable use and suspension

Do not submit dangerous or exploitative content, identify people, impersonate another person or organization, attempt to access private data, bypass safeguards or usage limits, disrupt the service, or use it in a way that puts people, wildlife, property, or systems at risk. CaptureQuest may limit or suspend access needed to protect users, partners, the service, or the public.

Availability and changes

Pre-release and test features may change, pause, or be removed. Identification, maps, sync, email, and other online services depend on networks and third-party providers and may be delayed or unavailable. CaptureQuest may update the app, website, features, pricing, and these terms as the service develops.

Disclaimers and responsibility

CaptureQuest is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. You remain responsible for real-world decisions, supervision, device use, content, and compliance with local rules. CaptureQuest is not responsible for an unsafe decision made in reliance on an identification suggestion, map, mission, or third-party venue listing.

Privacy, ending use, and contact

The Privacy Policy explains information handling. You may stop using the service and may request deletion through the account deletion page. Questions may be sent to davidevansdesigns843@gmail.com.
