    Create a field crew

    Set up a classroom or youth group in CaptureQuest and share its short join code with participating learners.

  2. 02

    Choose the learning goal

    Use daily and weekly prompts, an active group quest, or a guided activity that fits your schoolyard, garden, park, or field trip.

  3. 03

    Let students investigate

    Learners photograph real finds, review field information, write their own notes, and save discoveries to their personal QuestDex.

  4. 04

    Review the signal

    Open the Teacher Dashboard to see roster and progress summaries, then use the results for discussion, comparison, or the next lesson.

What the dashboard shows

Enough context to teach. Less sensitive data to manage.

The permitted teacher view includes field-crew details, member display names and roles, the active quest, and species and quest-completion totals. It intentionally excludes student photographs and exact sighting coordinates.
